Okay, I forced my children into these costumes that I made, even though I knew Jett really wanted to be something super cool like Spiderman or Batman. But come on, I had to. For one they are super cute. Second, they totally fit the part. Third, it's probably going to be my last Halloween with 2 kids, (don't get too excited, nothing is in the oven just yet.) On Halloween, Jett was really excited to be Thing 1, (he actually called it "crazy guy, who jumps out of a box and messes everything up.") Every time he put the costume on he would then proceed to overturn couch cushions, throw the toys on the ground, and make a complete mess, which was totally expected and encouraged. I was really happy with thing 2. Bryson kept his hat on the entire night. He definitely kept the night alive as well, by screaming from house to house or better yet, from candy to candy. He even ran right into someones house, but once we were threatened of doing the dishes we departed just as quickly.

Here's the whole very scary gang. Well almost all of them. The family have been taking halloween pics for about 14 yrs. I'm glad that my boys are being able to take part before too many of them become "too old."

Hey Mom, can you explain to me why I need shots to prevent me from getting sick and yet the shots themselves tend to do just that?

Do you just like planning my illnesses at you convenience?

Jett was nice enough to let Mom take a few pictures of him and Bryson during Wow Wow Wubbzy. (Jett has been really good at picture-taking, something we've been working on together.) Bryson however needed to be held onto so he couldn't grab Mom or her camera. Bryson did manage to get out of Jett's batman-grip once he started whining.

Bryson isn't quite sure what to think of all the snow. Too bad his suit doesn't allow him the liberty to find out either.

These boys are so excited to get their pictures taken for this years Christmas cards, that they can barely sit still.

Snow bunny! I think it's time to go back into the cabin..sit by the woodburning stove and sip on some hot chocolate.

Mandy, Me, Ally, and Amber. Once again the Psycho Cinco failed to get all of its members in place at one time. I guess Brooke prefers California over St. George... crazy. It seems as though there is never enough time to give to our get togethers or maybe no amount of time will suffice. Maybe it is the feeling of the outgoing and funny Desi that I feel resurface every time I am with some of the old croud that I am longing for. Not to mention my real laugh, that now surprises me when it suddenly bellows from somewhere deep within me. (it is kinda scary)

Well we really missed Brooke. All five of us haven't been together since Amber's wedding which was 7 years ago. Do to the fact that we've been spread all over the world, like Alaska, Spain, Czech Republic, Peru, Costa Rica, Washington, California, Japan, and Vietnam. I think that's right. Anyway next time Psycho Cinco will prevail. I love you guys.

Johnson Arch

We had a lot of fun on Nov. 7 hiking to see the 200 ft long arch in Snow Canyon. I can't believe I passed by it for soo many years not even knowing that it was there. It was scary when Mom had to lift a rock from over herself to keep it from squishing her. Since then Jett has been asking to go hiking frequently.

Daddy and Jett loved throwing rocks into the canyon that had a natural spring develop there. Daddy tried to push a huge boulder down but I didn't see it budge until "supter Jett" started helping.
Bryson enjoyed the hike and found it a good time to take a nap as well.

Last SWIM of the season. It actually snowed at our house the very next day. Jett is really going to miss "Geen Bally".

We'll be the first ones there next summer, if we don't go to the indoor pool in the meantime.

On October 4, the girls got together to throw my just barely-older-than-me sister a baby shower. Jessica is due in December with her first. We are all so happy that she is having a boy, along with big sister Kodye who will be having her first boy, after 3 girls, in January. Jess also has the cutest pregnant body. I can't wait till she can move back so our kids can play.
